Viva Mexico: What I Wore in Ixtapa

Mexico is my home. It's my happy place and I'm blessed to have traveled all over this beautiful country, but my heart always brings me back to Ixtapa on the Pacific coast.

Packing for a vacation can be stressful so my strategy is simple. I pick one look and then build my wardrobe for the trip around that — both in styling and color palette.

This time my wardrobe was designed around this gorgeous Zimmerman dress that’s been waiting for the perfect trip to make it’s debut. I found it on Poshmark at the end of last summer and I knew it had to be mine!

For me, there’s nothing better than a soft yellow on vacation — it looks glorious with a tan and because this dress is by Zimmermann every last detail is pure perfection… from the delicate halter straps to the gorgeous little lace trim around each layer!

I wore it for a fun afternoon in town and then to dinner. You can bet I’ll be wearing this dress all summer long … well once it gets here!
