How to Style 1 Holiday Blouse 3 Ways
I know this holiday season is looking really different, with less travel and smaller gatherings instead of the huge holiday parties we’re used to…but that doesn’t mean we don’t want to look good! Today I’m here to show you how you can wear one fabulous holiday top three different ways this season! One of my favorite tops is the Organza Dot Blouse from White House Black Market. A bit about this blouse, it’s totally sheer which means you can layer it with a black camisole, tank top, bra, bralette, or go commando for my bold girls! The gorgeous organza material feels so beautiful against the skin, and while the fabric naturally doesn’t have any give, it does have a little extra volume. I suggest ordering it in your true size, or even size down if you want a more fitted look. One of my favorite details is the pussybow, or pussycat bow. Normally these bows hit right below the neckline, but I love what the White House Black Market design team did…they dropped the bow a bit so that you can tie the two strings a little lower to highlight your gorgeous décolletage. Casual: Simple Styling with Denim
When you think organza, your probably regulate it to the ‘fancy’ category of styling. And that makes sense! It’s a super feminine look, but it’s also incredibly transitional. You can style it to suit whatever mood and vibe you’re going for! On last night’s IG Live with @whbm, I styled it with a pair of perfectly fitting denim jeans, the Ultimate Sculpt High-Rise Skinny Ankle Jean. I don’t know about y’all, but it takes a lot to get me to wear pants with a proper waistband these days, the pants need to be as comfortable as, if not more than, my sweatpants! These jeans nail it, they’re super soft and have slimming details like the high back pockets, and the fit sucks you in in all the right places without feeling super tight. I would pair this look with gorgeous strappy sandals, or pumps in black, nude, and even a leopard print!
Styling Tip: When you mix two opposite patterns, like polka dot with leopard, cheetah, or zebra print, they basically cancel each other out and become a neutral!
Level Up: Add a Jacket
It’s all abut layering. Laying textures and prints elevates everything in your closet. I’d love to be in Paris right now but what I love about fashion is that it gives you a different sensibility about where you are, it can transport you. For a more fitted, ladylike look, order this sweater jacket true to size. I prefer a more relaxed, oversized vibe, so I went up a size. Wear the Organza Dot Blouse under a cardigan or menswear-inspired blazer and let the beautiful details, like that gorgeous bow, shine!

Festive: my favorite way to wear it!
Dress this Organza Dot Blouse with the Pleated Midi Skirt for an instantly festive outfit! The midi skirt starts shorter at the top and slopes down, which is a cut that you normally see on designer pieces. It’s very flattering and instantly party-ready. This is how I want to dress for the holidays even though we’re not doing big parties! I think it’s important to celebrate the spirit and joy of the season no matter where you are. And I do that through clothes. I’m so excited to dress this one blouse up…everything about it from the fabric to the versatility is so beautiful. And now that you know how you can style it from super dressy to fabulously casual, it’s going to be a much loved and much worn piece in your closet!
